Sergei Magnitsky’s story needs to be told / heard around the world. May truth, justice, honourable courageous people and their legacy prevail.

I can't be the only one who thought this was Dr.Phil in the thumbnail..
  • If nothing else: this man’s toil to immortalize that man who worked for him, and who died on duty, integrity intact, is noble and worthy of laurels.
  • @kd1s
This is amazing. William Browder is a man with a conscience. The memory of Sergei Mangitsky will live on.
  • @vangoneint
Speechless, I am. For what you have done and what you are doing, thank you.

You are a man of honour! While Sergei Magnitskys' death is tragic, you have fought for his memory! May the act continue to deprive the wicked of their ill gotten gains.

This guy should be on a main TED event. He is much more than he says. He is one of the few people who fights against corruption aka Putin in Russia.
  • @Truthwelltoldtr
I am honored to learn Sergey Magnitsky’s name. Hail to the just!
  • @jimmydickson8854
All the frozen assets from Russia should be given to Ukraine to rebuild the damage Russia has done
  • @raykleiner3151
This speech is even more relevant today than when it was delivered by William in Berlin. Well done!
  • I have to say that the title of this exposition is deviating, but this speech is the most clear, assertive and short I've heard of the way about how Russia passed from communism to Putin neo-tsarism. My compliments mr. Browder, you made the point in my opinion.
  • What a terrible horrifying story of Sergei Magnitsky. He deserves a hero of the Russia medal! This story demands justice, eg. jail for all Sergei's torturers, his guards, the police who arrested him and most of all, the top brass and Putin who condoned, encouraged or ordered those heinous acts! William Browder, May you succeed beyond your dreams.
  • I have read Mr Browder's books and was filled with admiration for his determined pursuit of justice, but hearing his voice crack as he tells the story of Mr Magnitsky's fate, even though he must have told it many times before, reveals even more about the quality of both men.

I'd partly heard of the Magnitsky Act, but never found out it's actual origin. Thank you William Browder for enlightening me about the man who stood up to greed and corruption and paid the ultimate price. Further reading on Sergei reveals he was was born and raised in Odessa in the Ukraine - ironically one of the coastal cities on Putin's current 'must have' list. Sergei Magnitsky was as brave then, as every Ukrainian is being now. How much longer can Putin order - and get away with - the bullying and killing of foreign and Russian innocents? The man is a megalomaniac bully and those who support him are just as complicit. SLAVA UKRAINI.
