Maserati isn’t playing around with its new Grecale Trofeo. Based on the Alfa Stelvio platform, the Grecale features style, performance, features and quality previously unseen in anything from the boutique Italian brand. It has the twin-turbo V6 engine from the MC20, a stellar, balanced chassis, a great stereo, comfortable seats, and a supercar soundtrack. But how does it compare to the X3M, Macan GTS, and Jaguar F-Pace SVR?

Honestly guys, this is the perfect balance of new and old formatting for TST. 👌

I would love to have the Grecale Trofeo....BUT...... We do own a 2022 Stelvio Quadrifoglio which we absolutlely love. I don't feel the Grecale Trofeo is worth $38k more than our Stelvio QV. The MSRP on our QV was $90,470 and we paid $75,500, The Grecale Trofeo in an equal spec is $114k. We have had two Giulias (2021 Ti Sport Q4 is current daily) and a 2017 Maserati Granturismo and all have been more reliable than our Audis previously owned (so tired of non-owners bashing reliabiity)

Love this SUV. In a sea of BMW and Porsche, this is a very nice all rounder with style and the performance to match.
  • @conefcol000
"Finance like nobody is watching" 😂. That said, I hope Maserati can sell these and apply some pressure to Porsche.

I appreciate you guys going back to your roots and making videos like these again. I would like to see the return of personal tuner cars, though. But that's none of my business.
  • **Not sure if anyone else noticed, but the launch at the 2:30 mark you can clearly see the rear end of the car slowly squat like a sprinter about to take off on a 100 meter sprint. So cool to see
  • Great video lads! Loving the elevated production quality. Your hard work pays off. I'm a Maserati, Aston Martin and Bentley salesman and glad to hear you are rooting for Maserati. We just got the new GranTurismos in stock and I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

Can't believe how much the driver seat moves. Was it not screwed down correctly? On that standing start I thought Matt would end up in the back seats.
  • @spuddie3207
Is it just me or is that seat bouncing around a hell of alot.

14:11 I work at a rental car company and we actually do have a Grecale in our fleet. In fact, just today I had to show a customer how to shift into drive, lmao.
  • Awesome video guys! And what a beautiful car, expect for the weird screen in the center. Based on my experience with the Giulia and Stelvio, I’m sure it drives amazing.
  • @jimspace
This was a joy to watch, you’ve nailed the format to the second
  • @itsmegilbo
I want to say a quick thank you Matt and Zack for the high quality of these reviews and really appreciate the time and effort you're putting in
  • @dil6969
Between the two, I still prefer the Stelvio. It's more unique-looking and there was actually some thought given to the infotainment and HVAC controls. Even if this is faster in a straight line, I've driven the Stelvio QV and it's way faster than can be utilized on the street anyway.
  • Great jobs chaps! The new style has brought me back to the channel 🤘🏼
  • Sounds exactly like the Quadrifoglio. Weird since the Nettuno has the same block, but different heads. I wonder how similar the detuned Nettuno is to the Alfa's 690T. Anything based on the Giorgio platform is going to be great.
  • @cjtr83
Man, You guys are absolutely nailing these videos. Superb 👏🏻
  • @kochj23
This new change in format is perfect! Also, It is always amusing when you hear the free music used by another channel (Valley Racing's end credits music).
  • @Thaiseaweed
Beautiful video! Reminds me of the drive /tuned days!
