President Biden announced Sunday that he is dropping out of the 2024 presidential race. Mr. Biden said in a statement that he believes "it is in the best interest of my party and the country for me to stand down and to focus solely on fulfilling my duties as president for my term." He then endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for the Democratic nomination.

    It’s funny that they call elections a “race”. A race is something that you can win by your efforts, not because spectators like you more than the other competitors. An election is just a popularity contest.

    This was the only sensible option as the situation was untenable. That said, Biden didn't withdraw voluntarily, he was pushed out. He should rather have made the decision to quit after the debate disaster and saved himself from the indignity of the last weeks.

    Doesn't matter who gets in office next year and years to come afterwards, we already in days of revelations been going on for years and years 😢 government leaders for years and years has been a mockery to us. Dipping in our social security trust fund to give to other countries, homelessness is rapid, healthcare/ pharmacy, Rent, food , taxes, cost is ridiculously high! List goes on and on!!! 😢. There's nothing to rejoice. PRAYERS Up folks.
