  • Swede here: We're NOT democratic socialists. We have social democracy. A free market with taxes that fund a welfare system.
  • Bernie's own economic policy advisor thought he was a moron for using "socialism" to describe "social democracy."
  • There is no "middle class". There are people who have to work and those who don't.
  • I love it when people forget that there are different ideologies within ideologies. It's not just Capitalism and Socialism. Politics are not this simple.
  • @Artman1
This has gone beyond ridiculous. I just had a conversation with an American who called President Nixon a Communist.
  • I am wondering. I am german and we have universal healthcare. WE managed to figure out how to pay for all of that WITHOUT having 70% of Tax or Companies going bankrupt left and right....these are all just flimsy excuses because they KNOW that it would work.
  • I remembered a joke: "Let's be socialist" No, every country that tried it failed "But look at Norway, they are doing it fine" No, they just have strong social welfare "So let's have social welfare like Norway" No, that is socialism
  • @JayEm16
Why this narrator sound like the watch mojo lady?? Lmfao
  • @jacleena
Did anyone notice that Nancy Pelosi applauded when Trump said, "America will never be a Socialist country"?
  • During the 2008 presidential campaign in the USA, when the Right denounced Obama as a Socialist (which he was/is not), one letter writer to the Baltimore Sun said "If socialism means that the rich have to pay more for the common good than they have thus far, then call me comrade."
  • Socialism is when the workers own the means of production. State ownership is not in and of itself socialist.
  • It ia just incredible how this video got wrong the concepts of capitalism, socialism and communism at the same time.
  • "We aren't a socialist country, we are capitalists" - every single country in northern europe, and its true
  • @Limewire1984
A military reserve member and co-worker [I think he was Air Force] once told me, "I might not agree with what you said, but I will protect your right to say it." I'm glad I live in such a society.
  • In the late 1970s, growth in Western economies began to slow down and returns on capital began to decline. Governments came under pressure to do something about it – to create a ‘fix’ for capital. So they attacked unions and gutted labour laws in order to drive the cost of wages down, and they privatised public assets that had previously been off limits to capital – mines, railways, energy, water, healthcare, telecommunications and so on – creating lucrative opportunities for private investors. Jason Hickel,
  • as a Norwegian i can tell you that the middleclass don't pay 50/60% tax. its more like 20/40% tax. so he was lying big time, just saying. and its kind of messed up that they did not correct the statement
  • Im norwegian. Yeah.... dont call us socialists, we simply are not😁
  • Education is key which is why education is exclusive and eroding . The powers that be cannot exploit as easily an educated mass .
  • @leilaaaaa
americans really don't know the difference between social democracy and democratic socialism
