I'm pretty sure Jax's Arcana would just be enhanced strength, but since he had the mechanical arms, the Arcana augmented them that still granted Jax his enhanced strength while giving his arms a much needed upgrade.

Everything Kano says in this movie is hilarious and him going “oh fuck” after getting juked out on the third spam slide had me cackling

My theory is that Jax's Arcana was super strength, but since he lost his arms it compensated by upgrading his metal arms

Only thing I'm not particularly fond of in this movie is the arcana concept, while I applaud writers for having the guts to try something new even with established series, whether what they try works or not, the MK universe just doesn't really need an explanation for the powers each person has because we've always been able to accept that the characters just HAVE those powers

I love how Kano is played by an Australian actor, it added lots of funny moments in the movie.

People give actors a lot of credit for doing their own stunts, but honestly I appreciate Kano’s actor’s opinion on it: if the stunt actor can look better and be safer doing the stunt than an actor can, let them do their job! It’s what they’re there for.

To me, Kano was the most entertaining character in the movie, the actor really nailed their portrayal

Dead Meat's channel is literally going to be a learning concept in the future when filmmakers try to make a horror film. That's how much dedication James has put up in these kill counts.

I really liked Kung Lao in this especially his “Flawless victory!” part after he kills Nitara, he’s also not a douche in this version.

18:14 I was expecting something along these lines “Cole Young finally triggers his arcana and believe it or not, it’s golden plot armor.” And to answer the Jax arcana thing, he would still gain super strength regardless because MK9 he has super strength ability pre arm rip from Ermac

i think the arcana works the exact same way as a stand arrow/requiem arrow, the stand arrow gives you an ability depending on the state of your soul/personality but the requiem arrow gives you an ability depending on what you need in that EXACT moment. Liu Kang and Jax are perfect examples of both principles

I absolutely love how strong they made Sub Zero in this movie. He was literally unstoppable and it took a team of Cole and Hanzo and to finally take him down!

I went to the open cast call to be an extra in this film, and they also filmed many scenes just outside of my workplace. They had camera rigging and lightning setup inside and blacked out all our windows to where they were shooting. I got to watch them film a car crash scene though. It was pretty awesome haha
