Thanks to your videos i am hopeful to get my yard to where it will be thush. Tenacity, grub killer, fertilizer dethatch and scarify water seed and liquid aerate all at the right time. Cant wait to start seeing changes

one thing that people seem to not understand about having a good looking lawn is that it actually is easier to take care of ...I think when others see me working on my lawn regularly, that they can only relate to what it is like to occasionally mow their own out of control yard when it has to be done; however when my lawn was like that and I treated it poorly as it always looked bad, that was horrible and very hard to mow - now I do most of my lawn prep and maintenance only spring and fall when it is nice out and my cool season lawn responds the best; where others around me just wait and put it off until they have to do something, and by then it is hot and miserable with it extremely hard to even push a mower thru - so they might think that is what I am experiencing too, and why would I want to be doing that when I don't have to for nearly 15years my lawn was a complete wreck, bare dry dirt spots and mostly weeds with little real grass that I'd force my kids to mow(with pay) just as many people in my neighborhood still have - when they refused to do it anymore(no mater how much I'd try to bribe them) as well as grew up and moved out, then I was stuck doing it myself and could fully understand why they hated that chore so much - so to their surprise I bought some grass seed(saying to me "why would you want more to mow?") and yes it took years and lots of frustration and mistakes to transform my lawn into something I actually enjoyed ... but now when I do my lawn tasks it is simple and easy, and the yard seems to love it; vs hacking away at a mess that just pops back up within days as if I'd done nothing - still tho now others seem to be frightened of what I do and how my lawn looks, thinking that must be way too much work; but I would never go back ....thank you Turf Mechanic for all your guidance!

I have a pallet rack in my barn just for lawn supplies.

I got a question, can I over seed turf? Lots of my turf is brown and dried out I don’t wanna rip it out can I just over seed on top? And after core aeration do I gotta put soil back on top or can I just over seed as it and leave the holes?
