Remember when you promised an Alf playthrough at 750k and 25k likes for a vid? Well, that vid reached 26k likes. Alf.

The Together for Victory focus trees are so forgettable that you forgot the South African focus tree😂
  • To clarify what you said about the free Poland dlc: there is a free dlc on the market called “Poland: United and Ready” (why didn’t they just add it to the base game?) which gives Poland the historical path from No Step Back and also a custom branch which contains barebones fascist, communist, and democratic paths, and is basically just the vanilla political tree with the added bonus of focuses for joining factions

The thing I hate the most about the turkey and the Ethiopian tree is not only are they not fun to play they also screw your game when you’re playing a historical Soviet game and turkey declares war on you while you’re still fighting Germany. It is the most infuriating thing in the world I do not want to fight the allies at all most of the time to be honest and Ethiopia does a similar thing. it screws you over if you’re playing as the British because of the constant revolts, its actual hell! that being said, I do like the Brazil game. Sometimes I play Brazil as historical and support the allies like I do with Canada it’s pretty fun game. I don’t mind it if it’s an on historical game with the AI focuses off, but with historical focuses on, they should not do those things.

I believe that Battle for Bosporus was definitely outsourced to mod devs. You can tell, because a lot of paths a blocked behind weird random event choices. Like for Byzantium, you have to make several specific decisions. Same with Ottoman Empire and Macedonian empire path. With Bulgaria being the odd exception. It feels very kasiereichy

F in the chat for us here who bought the DLCs that were integrated into the base game.
  • My only complaint with AAT was the MIO's for Navy I swear dude upgrading the Naval MIO's and then having to let your ships upgrade for like nearly a quarter of a year just to increase AA defense by 10% is just brain hemorrhaging. Navy is already pretty difficult to build and maintain, mostly because MTG added so much research bloat and the fact that ships take a LONG ASS time to build, making the ships have to spend even longer just to get tiny upgrades from the MIO's really just makes me not even bother with them.

Can’t wait for the next dlc were they add the Tana Tuva, Liberia, Bhutan and Nepal focuses also you forgot about aussa

I've understood that By Blood Alone was so hated because it came with update that changed air wings in a way that you were unable change their size anymore, forcing you to have air wings size of 100 even small nations that doesn't have capacity to build that many planes.
  • How to play Switzerland? Easy. First you go the decentralized democratic route, then go the centralized fascist route (but not all the way- you want the SpAb), then go the centralized democratic route (but again not all the way, you want to not do Closer Democratic Ties), and then finally go the non-aligned/communist route so that you can conquer your neighbors and change your leader from the first aid kit to someone better like Clara Thalmann by around 1960. See? Easy.

Man the guns also added the super unique feature which no one would have expected. Fuel
  • @Sc0ts
Controversial take, I liked the Spainish civil war remake in La Resistance
  • Fun fact, Ethiopia or By Blood Alone added a custom game rule feature, letting you make Ethiopia into shattered warlord states, and they all have "unique" focus trees (they're practically Aussa's focus tree copy-pasted lol)
  • Arms market is good and all, but I've learnt recently that even in the base game now that you've together for victory integrated, you can use the request lend lease mechanic to cheese things in the mid game. Like as long as you have like a 100-150 convoys you can just improve relations with South American minors and request them for guns and support equipment. Very useful if you're torturing yourself as Egypt to get that damn achievement, since you get like 6 civs but 3 dockyards (so enough convoys, but very limited industry) and can effectively scam Chile, Brazil and Colombia AI out of guns to build an army far larger than what would be allowed by like the 3 mils you get out of the generic focus tree.
