That breakfast and tea is easily 50Rs but the shopkeeper just took 20Rs and didn't even mention the rest . Thats hospitality

The breakfast in the start of the video is the typical maharashtrian breakfast : sheera ( sweet semolina) poha( flattened rice), sabudana vada (fried sago), puri (fried flat bread) bhaaji ( potato dry curry). Its our comfort food for sure!

The maharashtrian uncle in the beginning is sooo sweet. He has this family business for years now and he's always radiating "good morning" vibes. I have eaten there a few times and the food us delicious, hearty and fresh just like my mom makes it. Mumbai is all about eating 10-20rs food while having a 2min random convo with a stranger and then running to catch your train❤

Max is such a simple guy. Always eating at locals while the world comments of bacteria. Homemade food is the best. Everybody in India do the shower, do puja and prayers. And then open their shops. In the US, people don’t care about such traditions because we treat food as a blessing. I miss India so much. Max is so down to earth because he was raised in country side. Appreciate it brother.
