Elder Patrick Kearon Called to the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles

I just think about this family in California that Elder Kearon lived with saying, "Hey, do you remember that English kid that lived with us 37 years ago? he's now one of the 12 apostles of our church." HOW COOL IS THAT?! It makes me think that we are never speaking with mere mortals; God has a plan for each one of us. And it's a reminder that we should always be teaching and preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. I can't wait for General Conference to raise my arm to the square and sustain this wonderful man.

He spoke in my stake back in 2019. I was blown away by the love he radiated! He had an expression of true joy, love, and admiration as he listened to each speaker and as he frequently looked out into congregation. His charity was tangible in the room in a way that I hadn't experienced before! Ever since then, I had hoped he would be an apostle someday. I've heard other people's personal stories of interactions with him, and all are the same about him being Christlike, humble, and helping every individual feel special. Truly an amazing individual fit for a huge role ❤️

We love you and sustain you, Elder Kearon! You are a man of God.

I have listened to his conference talk about abuse more times than I can remember. Thank you for your healing words. He speaks with such a personal profound love and understanding of the Savior.

What a humble man ready to serve God. We in the church are so blessed to have leaders like him.

I'm a part of a group of members who are always overlooked, those with mental illness, zero family life and come from a background of severe abuse, not all of us were fortunate to be born into loving families yet who are constantly fighting within themselves to want to stay, I know that the Savior knows what I've gone through, it would be nice sometimes to not be alone and left out, I've contributed thousands of names and I thank those who've I've never met who have helped do their ordinances, I will admit I will be grateful when my mortal life is over, I choose to be kind regardless of my circumstances, I would like to know if Elder Kearon is still in contact with that CA family.

I can so clearly see his humility and his love of the Savior. I’m so grateful for the restored gospel, with a Prophet and Apostles to lead and guide us through these very challenging times! ❤
