Very interesting story of a hero and a beautiful reminder of a simple, basic life with a lovely couple. These people had little, yet they offered to help others. This world lacks gratitude for what we have and lacks compassion for those less fortunate. Getting back to basics and appreciating what we have and offering love and kindness to all will create a better world and a healthier earth. Thank you for this documentary. Hello my friend. What a wonderful documentary!!! Please give my love, respect and gratitude to teacher Mustafa for his wisdom, wealth of knowledge and wonderful stories of growing up in village life. I hope these stories are passed down for future generations. We are losing that sense of village community and we are not a better society for it. I think it was a hard life to sustain each other, making and growing what they needed in life. They were rich with experiences, purpose, caring for their community and people in need. In my opinion, that way of living is worth far more than money. It nourishes the soul of humanity and we definitely need more of that today, now more than ever. The heroic tales of Atinali Murat were both terrifying and fascinating. He endured incredible hardship during desperate times of war. His bravery, wits and determination to survive was captivating to hear. I know translating languages is very difficult but I got the gist of his words and stories. Thank you very much for bringing history back to life in this video. I have thoroughly enjoyed this trip into the past lives of teacher Mustafa and his father. As always my friend, stay safe, be happy and well.

Wonderful documentary and so good of you to preserve and share not only this couple's story of their lives, but Mustafa's father's story in his own words of his war years. It is important to get older people to share their history and for somebody to document it so history is preserved and not lost. I really enjoyed this and thank you and this couple for sharing. My mother I insist .....my mother......was being born in 1915!!!! just to set the prospective...... This gentleman is a force of nature, grand memory, sense of the detail. Yesterdays as today had its tribulations, but as said, Nature was our Mother thus fed us, after exhausting efforts, to build us strong: can't say this of today.
