Here is a video I've been meaning to do for a while. This is my collection of railway crossing bells. I have six bells which I've collected since 2016. I thought since I reached the milestone of 500 subscribers I'd make a special video showcasing the bells I've got.

I have the following:

- Westinghouse Hybrid Bell (2nd Generation)
- Western Cullen Hayes Mechanical Bell
- Westinghouse Hybrid Bell (1st Generation)
- Two McKenzie & Holland Teardrop Bells
- Safetran Mechanical Bell

Thanks everyone who's subscribed! You are all legends, and I really appreciate your support for my channel and videos. I'll be bringing more of my usual content in the coming weeks

Background songs are:

'You Had To Be'
'Love Struck'
'Forget Me Not'
'Arabian Sand'
'Present Day'
'Book Bag'

  • I liked this for Amtrak, UP, BNSF, CSX, and NS locomotives!!! The SSC and WCH 2nd Mechanical Bells are great.
  • back two years later (yee haw) I now have 5 bells, and just recently got a WRRS bell! After a bit of work it works great!
  • Those bells sound exactly like the ones here in the United States

Great video Stuart. Your bells sound good and the overview of each bell is excellent and I’m glad that these bells, especially the Corigan Road teardrop have gone to a good home and not to the scrapyard. Congrats on reaching 500 subscribers! I’ll post a video of my bell collection soon.
  • Great video Stuart, great sounding bells you have, and interesting to hear what the Corrigan Road teardrop sounds like.
  • Amazing video! I love how in depth each of the descriptions are! Well done, and great collection
  • Nice video, I like the level of detail and effort put into the video, very well presented.
  • Using a Nathan K5LA for only Amtrak and K5LLA on SD70ACe locomotives for the freight trains!!!
  • Congrats on the 500 subscribers and awesome collection of bells as well nice to see them all together at once👍

  • @Ilenapieta
There is one on Mount Clay Road in Henwood. 😅 I do like the McKenzie and Holland teardrop bells especially the one on Carrigan Road that got removed in 2018 😞.
  • Wonderful video as always love the collection of bells Congrats on the subscribers
  • Nice crossing bells! The closest railroad crossing to me in my town has a US&SC teardrop bell and it has been there since at least the 1950's.
  • Fantastic collection of crossing bells there stuart. Great that you got the teardrop from Corrigan rd. I wonder when it last rung for a train before you got it. Maybe it was as long ago as 1984 when that crossing got boom gates. I really liked how detailed this was and how much effort went into it and it turned out great!
