HERE WE GO : 1. False sense of security = to feel safe when danger is actually near 2. Bounce ideas off(of) = to get feedback and opinions from somebody 3. -wise = suffix used with categories 4. For the sake of = for a purpose; of respect for someone 5. Let alone = not to mention, much less 6. A whole 'nother(thing/level/story/animal) = completely different...abso-freaking-lutely 7. To give it a shot = to try something usually tentatively 8. To be under the impression = to think or believe something that is proven wrong later 9. To nip it in the bud = to stop something bad before it gets too big 10. To serve me well = something that has been helpful to have or to know 11. To think twice = to consciously consider something 12. The big picture = the broad, overall perceptive 13. Back in the day = (casual) a long time ago 14. To be in over your head = to be in a situation where you are unprepared or less skilled than others 15. To ease into it = to carefully or slowly do something 🙌🙌
