Norm MacDonald showing up halfway to through the skit, saying something mildly racist, than leaving before it’s over is completely on brand for Norm MacDonald

I think that Burt Reynolds appearing and then disappearing is showing what’s happened to Alex’s mind. These celebrity Jeopardy sessions have driven him so crazy, to the point where he’s seeing things.

Norm was the one who originally came up with the idea to parody Celebrity Jeopardy, without him we wouldn't have one of the funniest reoccurring sketches on SNL. RIP, Turd Ferguson!
