My husband grew up in in Los Angeles. I showed him this video and he kept interrupting to correct their directions.
  • As someone who lives in Los Angeles, I won't stand for these outrageous lies that these sketches are perpetuating: Griffith Park and the 5 are nowhere near the beach. You have to take the 10 all the way to west LA, past the 405 to get to the beaches. If you follow their directions, you're going to end up in Glendale, and they're all going to be wondering "whuuuuuuuyoudoin'ere?"
  • I always thought this sketch was ridiculous until I visited LA for the first time. This is accurate.
  • "Get on the 405 until you can't take it anymore." Now that's just cold blooded.

If you dislike this video, get on the 10 and get out of here.

Bill Hader desperately trying not to laugh is pure gold.

My family and I recently learned about the Californians. We are from California. We have since started talking to each other like this for fun. From my 7 year old all the way to the 45 year old. We even have a huge mirror that we like to finish the skit with. We have so much fun with it.

One of the best sketches ever. I've lived in California my entire life. These people actually exist lmao
  • Bill Hader trying so desperately not to lose it is the greatest sight ever

"Get on the 405 until you cant take it anymore!".... this is what gave the antibodies needed to treat my depressive state for today. 😂😂😂😂😂

As a native born and raised Californian (Los Angeles), these skits just kill me. I wonder how folks who are not aware of CA view these skits. For us, they are pure GOLD and so accurate.
  • the funniest line of the whole fucking thing “stuart?! at this time of day?! it’s gonna be jaämmed”
  • I have a slight suspicion that the 1.1k dislikes are all just from Californians who got annoyed and kept correcting their directions
  • @Roselyroses
Hands down, one of SNL’s most genius sketches!
  • @AggiePride
About to move to California and someone said you will need to get used to how they talk and give directions. Then I remembered SNL did skitch about Californians and now rewatching them all to get me ready for life in CA. Thanks SNL. LOL

“At this time of dayh?! It’s going to be jahmmed! Are you crazah?!”

I feel like Bill Hader's reputation for breaking is 100% Fred Armisen's fault. When they're in a sketch together Fred is always laser focused on destroying him and it's hilarious.
  • Bill and Kristin trying not to laugh in the first part has me in stitches 😂
  • @istanbuloski
I’m an Uber driver in LA and even though I have a GPS guiding me, Californians still give me directions just like this. 😂
