    I so appreciate that you begin every reading of the Sabbath School Lesson with intercessory prayer for your viewers and prayer for understanding of God's holy word. In this very secular world, many do not know the great importance of praying for help before studying. I've been in at least a couple of Monday churches where they began their study without prayer. I asked: Did we forget our open with prayer? The leader said that they Didn't usually pray but they could. I shared with them why it was helpful and they were appreciative of the information. Spiritual things are spiritually discerned. So prayer is not just a formality. It is a necessity before, during and after study. Audible prayer is needed at least before study and after.
