The way the crowd erupted when Jey hugged Sammy, Triple H knows how to tell stories.

The war games main event was a story-telling masterpiece. Simply Amazing

Everyone should be giving Dakota Kai massive massive props. She took so many bumps, and started the entire match. I hope that her and Io stay tag Champs for a while and establish themselves as mainstays.

Sami pulling Jey out of the way when Ridge went to smash him was clutch. “I got you!” What a legend Sami Zayn is.

The difference between this year's SS and last year's SS is just staggering, and we all know why. Thank you papa H.

We just saw/had a “tear in your eye” feel-good moment for a HEEL team. Well done, HHH/WWE. Well done.
  • i don't think we should do War Games every year, but i DO think Survivor Series is more fun with themed groups of allies that make sense together rather than just Red vs Blue.

HHH just knows how to tell a great narrative, the build up, the little seeds planted throughout and then the payoff, fantastic work, truly fantastic

Michael Cole: ** goes on a spree of name-dropping promotions and factions outside of WWE ** Corey Graves: You just love Twitter being nice to you, don't you Cole? Cole: I sure do. ** both chuckle **

Honestly, Simon Miller has somehow made his way onto my Wrestling Mount Rushmore. I used to watch Ups and Downs because I didn't want to waste my time watching the shows themselves. Now I watch both because while WWE in particular has come over massively in recent times, Simon Miller himself is still more entertaining.
  • That wargames match was some of the best storytelling since the attitude era. The way Kevin Owens just slid down Sammy‘s arms…. I loved it🥺😩
  • The subtle hints of story telling in the mens war game match make all the difference between what is a good match and a great match. Even the shots of Roman sitting in the care with a smile or being upset are great moments in the match.
  • Reigns sitting in the chair in the cage was so much character work. He was sitting cool an din charge.

8:07 one of the highlights of the night was when Michael Cole was listing off factoids about bálor and styles in New Japan, and Corey says “you love getting praise from twitter, don’t you Michael?” to which Michael Cole responds “yes, yes I do.” 😂
  • Simon we all love you. The best thing about PLE's is getting an extra ups and downs in the week.

people keep talking about how this year it wasn't Team Raw VS Team Smackdown, but in actuality, it was. the women's War Games match had every participant being from Raw, while the men's match was comprised of Smackdown guys (with the exception of Kevin Owens, because swerve, I guess)

Simon Miller should give himself a Super Golden UP for his fantastic story telling! Honestly makes wrestling feel like it's the most important thing in this world

That main event was incredible, from Roman in his chair, Sikoa being a badass, the Sami Jey interactions and the incredible ending. Really don’t know where they’re going with the Bloodline story asides from it’s probably going to end at wrestlemania. There’s so many ways to go and lots of them are good.

That hug made me feel all warm and fuzzy in my tum-tum ❤️😭😭

I loved the point where the brutes were trying to set up Roman for the 10 Beats...it was MASSIVE Avengers trying to get the gauntlet off Thanos energy. I gasped.
