250X rider hasn't ridden in 7 years and hasn't really done technical terrain before. No better place to come out of retirement than McNutt and it's fine selection of rocks and roots.

  • KTM: we have a bike for every kind of ride u want. XC, XC-F, XCF-W, EXC-F, SX-F, XNX, CXA, ALK, ALSDLASD Yamaha: here take this WR and do whatever u want lol
  • The wr250r motor is straight up made to be as reliable as possible and the least amount of maintenance required compared to a wr250f or crf250r/x engine which is a high performance engine that needs regular valve adjustments and other things..

Amazing riding have you done anything to the wr suspension??

I like trails that have more flow, 3rd & 4th gear. You can have these rocks, root and rut trails. Since you like low speed, high difficulty trails, why are you on a heavy dual sport that has blinkers n mirrors to break off? A dedicated dirt bike would suit this riding style much better. Great skills though man. I have a 2013 Honda CRF250L and have found myself on trails similar so I know it's not easy lol. I definitely avoid em though as much as possible.

Where is this at? It reminds me of Belfair in WA State.

The WR is a cool little bike but man it sounds so industrial! Like a tote goat!

Dual Sport'n, how would you compare the power of the WR250R dual sport to the dirt only CRF250X? I owned a 250X and am looking for a dual sport dirt bike. If the power is close to the same I think I'd enjoy the WR250R. How would you compare them?

The WR sounds like it is has far better driveability than the CRFX. They're both fuel injected, so it could be the cam?

sadly both weigh more than my 94 dr250 dual sport. Japanese bike makers, are really sucking at trying to actually make anything lighter. They must be making a real effort to make them so porky.
