Wow...gold just closed at $2472....all time high closing price beating previous high closing price of $2467.80...GO GO GOLD, where does it go from here, very interesting week ahead😊😊😊
  • Silver almost back to $ 28 today. Copper is nice looking, tarnishes quickly. Have about 45 lbs ( 1440 ounces ) headed for the recycle center.

The only copper I stack are the pre 82 pennies you mentioned. Its a fun hobby

Copper and Silver will both do exceptionally well over the next few years once we get past this massive recession.
  • us debt clock finally took silver off $0 per oz... it's at $429 at the moment ... current real life valuation is ~$28/oz. Us debt clock has gold at ~$3100, in real life it's ~$2475 representative of roughly 75% of the debt clock value.. If silvers IRL value matched 75% of debt clock valuation (like gold) silver would be at $320+ IRL
  • @mojavegold-
Copper and silver may both trade as commodities - but silver rightfully trades as bullion by the Troy ounce - while copper trades as a base metal, by the pound or kilogram. I use a lot of C10100 (OFHC) copper magnet wire in my business - so we fairly regularly turn in 800-odd pound drums of copper scrap. Maybe I'm a 'copper snob' - but it kind of makes me cringe a little when I hear 999 copper referred to as "bullion".

I think the largest suppressor of silver price is the amount of disparity between paper claims to silver and physical silver available. This disparity has allowed colluding banks to over short the market and gives them a safety net when they short a rising market, because they know they can shake out weak investors and buy those paper claims back for cheaper. That's why I stand for delivery, that's why BRICS stands for delivery, and that's why you should be too dear reader. Stand for delivery and squeeze their shorts. I believe at the time of this writing the silver market is still shorted more than five months out, when that time is up they have to buy back the silver they borrowed to short the market. If the price has skyrocketed by then the banks will be fucked... (bailout time?, or does the entire derivatives jenga tower come crashing down?)
  • All metal is in for an interesting week A lot of important information coming out this week.

This broadcast is totally up to the minute. I also think Solar Panels have been putting the breaks on silver buying as well from industry due to economic inactivity. I still remain optimistic for silver though. The run up to the USA presidential election will also be very interesting indeed.

👍138 Was worth the wait to find out what is keeping silver from exploding. As always entertaining, informative, insightful, and educational..
  • Uncle Sal. ,Wiseman 3 of 3,Steve in Florida caught your video and enjoyed it thank you, I believe main thing is just how much above ground silver is available and is more being used than is mined. Last we've had a few black swan events, but I think the big black swan event is on the horizon, I guess we will see.

I do love that deep orange luster of copper. A truly lovely metal.
  • The Rebel Capitalist was talking about a coming copper shortage later down the road.
  • What about the wireless switchs in our house. I think the futur will be a lot wireless. Plumbing is nowadays plastic tubing. Technology is evolving in a way that people can't predict accurately
