I am the recipient of a transplant from a generous donor, a total stranger a quarter way around the world. At 22 years old she gave of herself so that I could have a second lease on life. A perfect match has given me over six years remission. I thank her more than weekly on WhatsApp and she and her husband have taken vacation to spend ten days with us in Arkansas. We had no idea that we shared a common ancestor who emigrated from Germany to Illinois. Two strangers in a database. For the love of someone you have yet to meet...... Please be the Match

If you have not done so, please consider registering to be a donor. Most likely you will do it and then never hear anything (I've not been needed for 10 years now). But you could save someone's life. A small decision by you could mean the world to someone in need.
