I am Hispanic and 62 years old. I've experienced racism from whites, Blacks, Native Americans, Asians, other Hispanics, and Indians. Every race has racists.
  • I grew up in a black neighborhood and went to a black high school, like I was the ONLY white kid in my high school. I took an ass whooping twice a day, every day. I hated my childhood because I saw nothing but racism. I told myself everyday that I would never make someone feel the way I did. I have been approached by a few of my bullies, as adults, and had tearful conversations that included apologies and explanations. I forgave them and released them of the burden they carried all those years. 2 of my closest friends are black and I love them with all my heart. I refuse to have enemies because of their color. My moto is, "I love everyone and you're next." You can't end hatred with hatred.

Thank you for making this reaction. I am white and back in 1991 I started high-school graduation in 1994, I had several African American friends and when the Rodney King riots happened my friends stopped talking to me and started calling me cracker and dumb ass white boy. It hurt really bad because I was still their friend, but that happened and Malcom X came out and now it seemed it was black against white and white against black. Brother against brother. The government wants us to be divided and hate each other because if we were still united as brothers and sisters in Christ we could stand strong and tell the controlling government to kiss our asses. I was relentlessly being followed home from school by gang bangers and have been shot at by them in the early and mid 90s growing up in Antioch California. I was very angry and had hatred in me after those things happened but I had to remind myself that just because one or two groups of a people act bad doesn't mean all are bad. I now have great friends of all races and I feel so good to have that brotherhood in Christ and to just talk to each other as friends and brothers and Americans.

First time seeing your channel. You’re a fabulous role model for your kids. What you said really spoke to me. Keep doing a great job. Be blessed my American Brother.

I grew up in Texas and never experienced racism until I moved to California for college. Only because I'm white but apparently it's not racism against me because I'm white. In the military we were a family and skin color, religion or lineage didn't matter. The most horrible open display of racism I've ever seen was the three years I lived in Atlanta. It was from all sides and it was blatant. I got my family the hell out of there and back to Texas.

Man i love what you said that you’re trying to train your little ones to be like you! Kids aren’t born with racism and hate, it’s learned!!
  • @waynemosher1366
True upstanding man right here, thank you. Thank you for judging the lyrics and not turning it into a race war. You sir are an outstanding role model and your little ones are blessed to have a father like you. God bless. I came across this randomly having no clue if the song or you honestly (with respect), thank you again for being a genuine person. Good day to you. 👌👌

I love your voice!! Really enjoyed your reaction to this song! He is just proving that we are all the same. Calling out the stereotypes. I love your open-mindedness. ❀
  • @okgaming9683
His whole purpose for this song was to show everybody that just because we look different, we all struggle. The struggle just looks different from the outside. I'm a whiteboy who grew up in the "ghetto", the "hood", whatever you wanna call it. I've been called all kinds of things but I realized at a young age because of the family I have. That you are no different than I am, ones not better than the other. We're all just Americans trying to make the best of what we are blessed to have.

I'm 41 lived in south Carolina 90% of my life from 6th grade to 12th I was the ONLY white person on my bus. I can tell you that racism is from all side I've been called all of those names.. I stood my ground and gained respect and love from most of the people on my bus. I judge people by character..not skin color.. even tho a good bit of my childhood I was racially profiled.
  • May I add
I went around with people who weren’t considered good enough because they treated me like I was good enough and my own family didn’t think I was good enough. Labels are just labels! At 68 I could care less unless you go after someone who needs lifting up not tearing down. It was a long journey from a child’s hurt to today. I have this motto
I am where I am but I will not go backwards. I may stay in one place for awhile but I won’t go backwards. Move forward!

There's a conversation needed to be had here but people don't want to have it. I love that this guy is logically deciphering the lyrics of the song and not jumping to conclusions or getting offended by truth. Great content.
  • @MrGrimmzen
Your kids are lucky to have a wise father. Much respect.
  • @robynlyn7395
I was called white trash back in the day all because I was a single mother trying to take care of my two babies. Their father was so abusive. I didn't have no where else to go and I was struggling. No one should put down anyone else for what they are dealing with.
  • This song really hits a lot of good points man. Shows the judgements from both sides and the truth about the negatives and positives on both sides too. Good stuff. I like your reaction to it as well. Thanks man!
  • @jeffcox1515
I kept passing this song up on your page just because I didn’t know if I was ready for your reaction. Since I watched it now I am glad I did, thank you for your honesty. Keep up the good work.
  • @texaseagle3484
I take it as Adam calling out all the stereotypes on both sides and how we sound so stupid when we do it. đŸ”„reaction as always bruh!

I love the fact that you controlled your ego and gave the words a chance. You good sir are an example to all men.
