A few weeks ago I was feeling sorry for myself. Treated unfairly. Lectured about being a old white guy. That my time was over blah blah, then got laid off. It was bad. I was mad too. Then I remembered the betrayal, humiliation, abuse Jesus went thru. Being punished for MY sins by people he loved. Rejected, torn apart. HE didn't deserve any of that. It really strengthened me. HE knows how it feels. If we can really internalize that it's really next level. HE heals, by HIS stripes we are healed. I'll worship HIM. HE is truly worthy. I'll lift HIS name on high.
