How to identify pirated books and AVOID them| Pirated books vs. Original books | Anchal Rani

Long time ago, I heard very thoughtful quote that books should be free. I have read around 1000 books but purchased very few. I used my school, college and work library for that. But now I buy pirated books for as cheap as 50rs. And I love reading them. Fine printing and everything same as original. So pirated copies are only made when a book gets into million copies sold group, otherwise no use of printing a flop book. If million copies are already sold thn the publisher and author had already made enough money. Now the publishing house can easily lower the cost but corporate greed can't let them. I will buy 1000 books for 100rs rather thn buying 200. All I need is what's inside the book and not how it's going to look on my bookshelf. Dnt be a moron.

Also recently I went to a bookstore near my house and the owner was trying to sell me a pirated copy of it ends with us, he had two different copies and I told him it is fake book, he told me that the publisher has sent him two different copies of the same book 😂😂😂 lol

Pirated books are everywhere Even in bookstores, even in book fairs I spotted some pirated books in the publisher's offical stalls! I don't know HOW or WHY 😭 This is what I like about Bengali books and publishers, they are ALL hardcovers and great quality books with very low prices. Like hardcovers for 150-200 rupees

Please make a video on stores where we can buy the originals at discounted price or first copies because being a student it gets kinda heavy on my pocket to buy originals as the prices are so high.

Getting pirated copy is a bummer. I recently brought a good girls guide and it was a pirated copy. I didn't know at first but I recently found out that it was pirated and I got to know because of your video. I have received pirated copies several times from flipkart... But not from Amazon, even though I have seen people receiving pirated copies from there too.... I have always returned those books because they literally drain out all the fun of reading.... 🙂 Great video, really really useful for readers✨❤

In the Cannaught place region in Delhi there are a lot of shops where they sell books and you can tell at first glance that a lot of them are pirated. But I am guilty of buying many books from these places as they are so cheap, less than half the price of the original book. And many times ive found books that i couldn't get from anywhere at this place.

Sis pls tell me that does Amazon deliver used books sometimes?? Because I recently ordered a Ruskin bond book. I was expecting a new book but then I got an old one . The inside pages were good, little pale but still readable but the cover was weary. I don't have a problem with getting old book but they should've mentioned it at least somewhere. Pls tell me that how can we check whether the book that we are going to order is old or used in Amazon.

I was once travelling in a train and a guy was selling books and even though I had my kindle with me I felt obliged as a bibliophile to buy a book from him and all of the books he was selling were pirated and I asked him if he had an original copy of any book and he said that who's going to pay 500 or 600 bucks for a single book and it just makes sense like people just aren't willing to pay that much money for original books and I agree with the audiobooks and library part even I wish I had a library in my city 😭

I have also ordered from both them but Cocoblu were a trouble for me. I ordered a hardcover and recieved a damaged copy from them. When I replaced it there was no dust jacket just naked hardcover. And then, the book was out of stock. I had to return it. Their books are original but they don’t provide any bubble wrap or cardboard box. They just pack the books in a simple paper package and maximum no. of times, the books are damaged. Whenever I’ve ordered from them I have received the damaged copies. It is just heartbreaking as one has to wait for that thing for so long and then going through all of it.😢

let me tell something, it's not the customer's / reader's issue that we get a pirated copy. it's the business of the sellers be it ecommerce/ bookshops that they take care of it. i would say the reader is rather at a loss if he/she has received a pirated piece. itna dimag padhne me laga aaye ya yeh sab dhundne me lagaye? kahe liye lagaye? ecommerce wale/ store wale black money kamye or hum dimag lagaye... unko sambhalna chahiye.... ye aisi baat ho gyi ki chor tumhare ghar me ghus aayi aur tum so kyu gaye the raat ko........

I got 2 books which are pirated out of my 300+ books. Both of them were from Flipkart. Both bought during sale. Harry Potter and the sorcerer's stone and Roald Dahl 's Matilda.
