Hana Maui

I love how the road to Hana has almost like a different environment around every corner. It was just amazing that it could be so different in each little valley. Definitely need to see it and experience it in person, words and pictures dont do it justice.

We stayed at the Hana Kai in the Haneoo condo room 104 during our trip to Hana. Great place to stay when you don't want to drive back to the West side.. 🤙🤙🤙

Eric, thanks for the memory. Hubby & I stayed there on our honeymoon in 1986 & again before leaving the islands. We stayed in a cabin with a hot tub; not sure what the # was. Going to hunt for the pic he took.

Hana is definitely a 💎. I can admit I made the mistake of a day trip my first Maui visit, learned the second time around. Love the merch, gonna pick up one to wear in Tx. How about a “pau hana” shirt? 🤙.

My heart just skipped a beat while watching this live. 💗 Such a beautiful and magical place. The furthest I went on Hana was the beach park around 4 weeks ago. I drove back to Wailea the same day. Definitely will stay in Hana for a couple nights next time. I will let them know that Eric West sent me there. 😉

Go beyond Hana to Ono Farms for fantastic tasting session of their home grown organic fruits. If they are still in business. Also go to the cemetery where Charles Lindbergh is buried.

Hana has its own very unique beauty 😍 love the drive! Haven't stayed overnight their yet. Do plan on staying a few days one time so we can see everything!! 💕😀🤙

ITs Ibeen 3 months and we are now enjoying your super pro tips Eric. We are staying at the Hana Maui Resort in one of the two rooms you suggested staying in the one that has a HOT TUBE. Seriously, this place is EPIC!:_SSHAKKA:. This is without a doubt one of the best rooms/views we have ever stayed at. HOW IS IT MAUI JUST KEEPS GETTING & BETTER?. MAUI NO KO ‘Oi :_MauiNoKaOi: We would recommend it for a romantic trip, Honeymoon or anniversary; we are celebrating 34 years this month! We agree with Eric, if you can stay a night or TWO in Hana you should , It gives you opportunity to really enjoy all that The Road to Hana has to offer without the rush! We tried to do Hana in one day and it was definitely to rushed. We missed alot and were trying to just see things without actually getting to spend time enjoying them.

It’s like a different little world over there. Definitely better to do more than a single day trip. When my parents bought in Maui back in the day, they hyped up the trip with a promise of the sacred pools and the Hasagawa General store at the end. The pools were unfortunately dry but the store was rad. 🤪 I do the ifit bike road to Hana which I think given the actual road width is much safer than doing it for real. How do they manage now with all of the traffic?! That must be a bit of a thrill ride 😳
