11 years ago today I lost my troubled son at just 21 years old, I've often found comfort in this song, and as I sit and write this with eye's full of tears, this version is the most beautiful and moving I have heard. God bless Christopher. Thank you Joe and RIP Dean.

Rest in Peace, Dean Ford, and thank you for this endlessly beautiful song. I am 75 and have been listening to this song since I was a teenager. ❤️❤️❤️. How many people are listening to this song in 2023? IMHO the music of the 60s, 70s, and 80s, were the best.

As a 77 year old may who lives in a basement I want to thank anyone who had anything to do with the production of this video. You'll never know how this song means to people. My wife is gone, my children are gone and I have two cats left. This video means a great deal to those alone!
  • I'm 67 years old and the original version is one of my all time favorites. When I found this version in my older years, it brought tears to my eyes. I listen to it all the time. My 90 year old dad wants me to sing it at his funeral. Hope I can get through it. ❤
  • I keep saying to everyone how people that are 50, 60, 70 years old had the best music.... and the best cars of all time we truly were Blessed

Mr. Dean Ford came full circle when he made this rerecording of his classic song. His amazing vocals withstood the ravage of time that many are unable to duplicate. This song offers each one of us to reflect back on our own lives. As a 66 year old, I can remember when I was a young man thinking that life was forever. Now, I realize more clearly that life is only a fleeting moment and each one of us are temporary in this world. We only have a certain number of days to leave something positive in this world before our time is up. Thank you Mr. Dean Ford for your contributions to music and the love you shared with us to appreciate the little time we have. We are all going home when our time is up. Enjoy the stay while you still can. God Bless and Rest in Eternal Peace Mr. Dean Ford. ❤️

I loved this song back in 69. I find this newer version even more moving and poignant as I reflect back on my own life in these closing years. Rest in peace Dean.

I’m 75 years old and have always loved this song. It brings me back to times when I was young and also makes me tear. Thanks Joe for arranging this beautiful rendition of Reflections and R.I.P. Dean.

I have lived long enough to hear the young Dean sing this and the older Dean sing this and he never lost a single note. Rest in piece Mr Ford

A beautiful voice, right to the end. If this doesn't bring tears to your eyes, then you don't have a soul. RIP Dean Ford and thank you!

If tears cleanse, I'm just about as clean as I'll ever be. Lord thank you for this. Dean died a couple of years ago and I'm glad he was able to do this version. And that I was able to enjoy (me and all of us) I've always liked this song but it's like 1000 times sweeter now with nearly everybody passed away. Love to everybody who is sad. Turning 78 next month🙏

The lyrics, the memories.. the 70's. I had a beautiful life. I am blessed to know how good life can be. But wise enough to know. Life will never be like that again.

This song was popular when I was drafted. Amazingly, it brought tears to the eyes of even the most battle-hardened guys. RIP to those guys who didn't make it home and RIP to Dean Ford who brought us this amazing song.
  • I'm 71 and this is the best music ever. They don't make music anymore .
  • @dmailerdude
I keep coming back to this version, so beautiful, yet sad as I near 75. Missed opportunities, bad decisions, regrets.
  • @matrox
RIP Dean Ford. He died 9 months ago. He's home now.

I'm 63, and I remember hearing this song on the radio way back during Viet Nam era. Some songs grab you, and you never forget them. This is one of those songs. How do we go from young to old so quickly? Thank you for such a beautiful song!
  • 2 years ago I lost my father, in 8 hours I'm gonna buried my Mom, and here i am listening this amazing song. This song brings me peace. ❤️
