It's not easy to combine meaningful, deep and poetic lyrics, vocals and rap, beat and music, flow and talent, dancing abilities and visual in every song. That deserves a separate genre of it's own.

Suga's rap brought me into BTS, his impact so I know the feeling...

Just like the rap line has there own songs that are just the rap line. The vocal line has songs that are only the vocal line. And each of them have solo songs just like each rapper has their own mix tape songs. I definitely recommend checking them out if you want to see what the vocal line can do! 💜

The thing is, most wouldn't consider BTS K-pop. They're like their own genre 😄 loving the reactions.

Bts is so unique in that their discography is so diverse. it supports whenever someone says bts is the genre and not kpop. They do everything and do it well each time.

Kpop is really varied. Like Suga said, people say kpop is a music genre but is so much more than that, because there are so many different genres within kpop, not to mention its other characteristics like the dancing, the storyline if thats the case... I can't explain it well in english but basically the spectrum of kpop is really wide and varied. So there are kpop songs with that "butterfly music" style like you said and songs with this kind of style, but there is so much more out there

If you do not mind a longer video I highly recommend 2019 MMA live performance they turned the award show into their own concert. Best I have ever seen. BTS actually debuted in 2013 so they have been around awhile. There older songs will be more rap heavy they started out as a hip-hop group but they always have some rap in all there songs they do together since there are 3 rappers so they all get parts. Jungkook also rapped in the older songs and if one of the rappers is sick he takes there part in the song he can do everything. There is also an introduction to BTS 2021 version by IDA S that I would recommend it tells more about the members and the roles in the group and some background information.
