  • I loved watching this and could relate to it in a few ways and I'm great full my mother sent me this, this morning
  • Ive been following Katherine and Jay's story for about a month. I had never heard iof her except for the billboards about warning sugns of stroke. It has helped me realize more and more that God really does not leave us nor forsake us, even when it may feel He is far away. During a really rough period of my husband's brain cancer then liver cancer diagnosis i felt like i just could not handle anymore. But as Katherine notes many "God winks" in Hope Heals we have seen many ourselves. My husband and i had Covid which temporarily stopped his chemo and he had chest pains so a ct scan was done and a pulmonary embolism was found. On that same scan they detected a tumor on his liver which was biopsied and found to be cancerous. The oncologist said they hardly ever find it so early so he was able to have surgery and it has not recurred. The grade 3 brain tumor is inoperable this time but he was first diagnosed when he was 27. It took many tears to recur and we "just happen" to live within an hour of MD Anderson and they said he was too deconditioned for radiation and chemo but that if we were willing to try then they were. Its a daily struggle with cognitive impairments, severe pain and more but we are so grateful for each day. We have learned to push ahead knowing God goes before us.
  • I just love the truth and treasures... YOU...bring to the table! Thank you...for pulling back the curtain of your story... God,...is a brilliant writer of our story... even in the suffering both seen and unseen. The invisible wheelchairs and visible are real. Disabilities are not the writer of our stories... When God...is our writer and Jesus Christ...is the author and finisher of our faith...God Bless you! Thank you!
