I remember kids trying to Moonwalk the next day, after that show aired. We even held Moonwalking contests. Man it was a great time to be a kid.

MTV was a "premium" channel where I grew up. My parents asked if we should keep MTV or Showtime and I obviously said "I want my MTV." Eventually it became part of the basic programming in our area and we got showtime back.

I love these, my mom was 18 in 1983 and sadly she passed away when I was 11, I’ve always wondered what life was like for her before kids and your videos put it into perspective for me
