Turtle Rescue!

You aren’t supposed to move a turtle that’s moving in a specific direction. They will become confused and most likely die. I had read that on a flyer at the park one day as I was walking my dog. However, this turtle would have died regardless had I left him where he was. I’m so glad I read that flyer, and that we have a nature reserve at this local park. These people at Luhr Park are great people, and are going to use this Painted Turtle in their educational program. I got to name her, and her name is River the Painted Turtle.
