The fact that she survived is honestly a MIRACLE!
  • @OutlawQueen127
Anyone else hear how different and clear her voice is now? her voice has truth now. I have chills.
  • @s.c8949
The lyrics are fantastic and perfectly capture what addiction is like for anyone who has experienced. You think you are in control until you're not.

This song hits home for me every time. Just celebrated 1000 days off fentanyl & Im so damn lucky to be here! Sending love to all those struggling & in recovery ❤
  • @mollyfoxxx
Absolutely gut-wrenching. The duffle bag, the trash who SA her and left her for dead, the way her team found her unresponsive, nearly dying in that hospital bed. But she survived and is doing so much to help remove the stigma around addiction. I’m so glad she’s still here to tell her story.

“It’s so hard to say no” damn, such a short sentence but it gives me goosebumps

I know a lot of people criticize Demi for “exploiting her struggle”. She didn’t make this video for you. As a fellow addict in recovery, I can appreciate that we have a voice on a platform of her level. It’s a lifetime battle.

I get shivers every time i watch this. An incredible powerful song. My mom struggles with addiction and i am beyond thankful to have her here today

Imagine how hard it would have been for Demi to recreate the whole night of her overdose. She did this to help others, making her a more amazing person.🤧
  • @beingbeckeroni
That moment when you’re lying on a hospital bed singing/lipsyncing to the lyrics about your overdose and you can only sob... but you keep recording. And you keep it in the final cut. 💔 I have a whole new level of respect for Demi after watching her doc and this music video.
  • This made me ball my eyes out. I just lost my boyfriend of 8 years to an overdose, I found him dead on our couch 2.12.22 two days before Valentine’s Day. Thank you for sharing your story demi, this song has touched so many life’s around the world espeically mine. I wish my partner got a second chance. I’m so proud of you. Your voice is out of this world.

You know an artist is so dedicated to the storytelling of their work when they reenact such a horrific night of their life for a music video. That must have taken an unbelievable amount of strength that I can't even begin to imagine. Demi's work ethic is something else.

I'm not a praticular fan of demi, but I have to respect her for this. This is literally her story and it's incredible how she is telling us how everything turned out for her and to put herself in a position of vulnerability to tell what happen is amazing. This can help many people seek for help, who are suffering like she did and are going through what she went.

Came out a year ago, and I understand this applies to addiction in all forms, but I took it more in the sense of depression. I have chronic depression, stress, and anxiety, and this song perfectly describes how I feel when I relapse too. And it almost sent me to my grave a few months ago. I hope anyone who is an addict, or just suffers from mental health disorders, gets help and knows that you're not alone. There is always someone out there like you, and if you cant believe that, just believe in whatever God or higher power to give you strength because you CAN make it out. Praying for you all who can relate 🫶🏼❤️
  • When this came out I was homeless, on drugs, and then jail. I now have a house, job, and husband. This song and “Clover Cage - The Chess Piece” are the two songs that helped get rid of my depression. I just want to send love to everyone and I want everyone to know things will get better. We are in this together..I love you ❤️😊
  • She has courage to admit she struggles with an addiction. I just don’t want nothing bad to happen to her. She is a fighter
  • @marmzzn
for them to be able to re-enact all of the things that happened that night in the video proves how strong they are.
  • @jackym4652
The fact that this song can apply to any type of addiction. Her entire story and documentary really hit hard. I’m in an abusive relationship and it’s almost like being addicted to drugs, you don’t know why you keep going back and a lot of the times I’ve came close to death. To say the least, Demi has touched so many lives with sharing her story 💜
  • @deannawhisman
Wow. As someone who struggles heavily with mental illness, I cant even imagine the emotional journey it was to recreate these scenes. This was powerful and vulnerable all at the same time.
