  • @buenabrown2373
Just imagine her voice echoing through a room while she’s singing this

Melanie was the one who taught me to dress however the fuck I want, and to not care about pointed stares and whispers. ♥

I love how Melanie uses toy instruments in her songs everytime! Her voice and style of songwriting really stand out! If I have this kinda vocal in my music production, that would be a dream come true lol

The way she makes such a sad, aggressive and depressing song so cute is such a skill... what a legend.

melanie hasn't got a single bad song omg.....
  • Not only can she sing like no one else, but each of her songs have an actual message. Gotta love her!
  • As an autistic kid, who was raised by very weird, if not bad people, who constantly question authority, and always do what we want, this, this hit me. I never fit in. No one liked the weird kid who caused problems. I didn't understand what I was doing wrong. But despite that, I always had a good heart, trying to see the best in the people around me, despite the constant bullying, always open to forgiving if they asked. I have always been bullied, more so in middle school and before. But despite my forgiveness, I couldn't help but wonder what would happen if hurt them back. I could think of a dozen ways to, without getting caught. But I didn't, because despite it all, I didn't want to hurt others, wether they deserved it or not. .
  • “I am not the government I am not the fucked up men I am not a part of anything that is hateful Love is seeping out my pores, I don't hold anger anymore” 🔥
  • @shnonomes
She is epic. Her voice is angelic, She's pretty, She's amazing
  • Fun fact: this was supposed to be song for the original ending in k-12, Mel wanted Cry baby to set the school on fire but the director said she had a budget so they stuck with putting true school in a bubble and having it float away
  • It must be one of the most touching and human songs Melanie has ever written. No swearing, just talking about true feelings and how awful bullying is. Seems like she's feeling not just for victims of bullying but also for bullies themselves because only deeply heartbroken person can sink low enough to start hurting others. She understands that her resentment won't put an end to violence so she's choosing to forgive her bullies and focus on taking care of herself and others, on spreading love.

She needs more appreciation beyond play-date. and this song shows exactly why.
