Amazed and Afraid

I've been on a journey of finding faith for a while now. I went from generic non-denominational rock concert churches, to an Anglican church that resembles Catholicism, then today for the first time I attended a Catholic Mass. When the host was consecrated I began to tremble with fear. I've never felt that way before at other churches "communions". I began to just pray over and over again, "have mercy on me Lord, I'm unworthy to be in your presence". I've left a voicemail with the religious education office to begin RCIA when it starts back up. Please pray for me as I walk this new path of my journey.

Bishop Barron helped me come into Catholicism and I’m so thankful for it. The church has added so much to my life.

I can't even begin to express the impact the Catholicism series had on me. I grew up bemoaning and resenting the fact that all Catholic content I ever saw was cheap, corny, outdated and cringe inducing. This was the first time in my life I felt proud of Catholic media content. Bishop Barron created someone worthy of the goodness, truth, and beauty of the Catholic faith. God bless him for that.

I'm watching this during Lent 2024 after binge watching the first three seasons of The Chosen. This video crystalizes for me who Jesus was and is from the Catholic perspective. Rev Bishop Barron weaves the life of Jesus with the prophecies of the Old Testament in a way that few people realize actually foretold Christ's coming and the reason for His coming. I knew this but the way Rev. Barron describes it-made it so REAL to me. Thank you Rev. Barron!!!

Our RCIA was a little behind because the normal catechist came down with an illness, so we watched these videos while a new catechist came up to speed. Watching this again brings back warm memories.

This documentary played a pivotal role in my path to the Christian faith several years ago, from hedonism and the occult. I’m now a catechumen in the Eastern Orthodox Church, but will be forever grateful to Bishop Barron for helping me let go of the fear and unearned bitterness against catholicism and showing me that the path to Christ can be paved with intellect, beauty, and depth in a way I had not previously seen. Without this unique evangelism I would not have found the true church nor the faith I have now that has brought me so much strength, comfort, awe and love through extremely challenging times. Thank you all for making this available and free to the public, I pray that it will move and inspire many others as it did to me.
