I am a Catholic who came back to my faith after many years. Yesterday, I and other loved ones were Confirmed. I chose St. Thomas Aquinas after much contemplation of my Confirmation Saint. Happy Easter all! The Lord is Risen! 💗

I’m losing hope Lord! Help me Jesus. Heal me of my insecurities that I may teach my sons how to have confidence. Grant me strength to face this harsh world so I can provide for them and give them everything they need. As a single mom I’m constantly struggling to buy groceries and to pay my rent I’m ashamed Lord please bless me in Jesus name to provide for my sons both are special needs and require so much from me. Father please renew my faith. 😢

This was such a great summary of St. Thomas Aquinas; his life, his writing and his influence. Also, it was so wonderful to see Notre Dame in its pre-fire beautiful state.

Aquinas brought me to catholicism for the simple fact i seen that he questioned things, he did not have blind faith and i truly admire that. I think it is what sets catholics apart from other prodestant faiths, not that there is anything wrong with prodestants. I just really admire Aquinas and now im in RCIA classes awaiting my baptism. Today is a special day for sure
