New subscriber! We love guest hollow! I also have a homeschool YouTube channel 😃
  • That Smithsonian People and Places book looks lovely! I've never seen it before! Love your geography selections! ❤
  • Guest Hollow is a favorite in our home. Thanks for spreading the word about them. You’ve got a new supporter. 🙂🌻

UPDATE: I decided not to use the Horizons health curriculum. We are using Guest Hollow’s Jr Anatomy and Health so there isn’t a need for a separate health curriculum. In my state science and health are two separate subjects. Finding something that combines them makes life so much easier!

Thank you for sharing. I would be interested in seeing a flip through of the horizons health- both grades when you have a chance.

This is so helpful as we will be entering high school soon! Just subscribed. I also have a channel and would love to be friends and connect. Looking forward to following along.
  • For fat head kids… what we are doing is… we have watched Super Size Me (I did go through and choose to skip some parts I didn’t think were appropriate for my kids), and now we are watching the Fat Head documentary. I think watching the 2 of those movies really provides for some great discussions on nutrition, personal responsibility, government intervention, media and advertising, so many great topics. (My kids are 11-15). So we skipped that book and are doing this instead.
