"She's Leaving Home"...One of my favourite ever songs...Harmonies, clarity of delivery...and of course...an amazing story...just genius and beautiful x10 The lines....Daddy 'OUR babies gone....which then becomes...'How could she do this to me' where the mother becomes so 'internal, almost selfish...which shows the relationship she had with her daughter.....wow....just pure genius. The mothers lack of awareness....expecting they know what their daughter needs and wants...and their ignorance of how she really feels...all about them and their pain. A lesson for any parent. Perfection personified. AND...No needless 'middle Eight'!
