In this new video I will be doing a first time reaction and analysis to "The Beatles - Oh Darling". Beatles oh darling really stood out to me. Catchy, soulful and any music fan’s sweet spot. The vocals on here is crazy! I got some Led Zeppelin vibes, how versatile! Ringo Starr, John Lenon, Paul McCartney really got this right! The chorous is “chorusing” . What a hook! 👏

Paul McCartney, the man of a thousand voices, is singing ALL of the lead vocals. He can change his voice up seamlessly and has a lot of different styles of singing.
  • This song, with so much emotion and intensity use to literally make me cry...always thought this song was perfect, then John said if he sang it, it would have been a hit...WOOOOW ❤❤❤❤
  • @philshorten3221
Every Beatles track is an absolute Nucleotide, a building block of the very DNA of the music that followed. Bands like Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd started with the music of The Beatles ringing in their ears.❤
  • Its Paul! Your face at the chorus!🤣🤣 He recorded it at the end of the album and spent ages screaming at the walls to roughen up his voice, he wanted it to sound like they'd just finished a long tour You're right, Blessing, Ringo absolutely nailed the drums, superb! The Beatles, best ever

What's not to like about this song? Epic performance by Paul McCartney singing the lead with beautiful backing vocals by John Lennon. These two are at the top of the list of the greatest musical duos of all time in their respective roles within the Beatles.
  • @AcidicSceptic
Witness and behold the pure power of Paul McCartney's singing vocals. The whole album (Abbey Road) is flawless. Edit: Before auto tune. Just sayin'.
  • @rogerdahmen769
You can say that Paul McCartney was also the first one who introduced Metal music to the world with his voice and instrumentally, especially when you listen to his song Helter Skelter
  • Paul McCartney was the vocalist. Nobody else in the band had his range and ability to transform his style. He also can sing remarkably soft, smooth ballads. John Lennon is the other primary lead vocalistz and George Harrison wrote and sang lead on many of his own songs, some of which are among their best and biggest hits (Something, While My Guitar Gently Weeps).

As one of the 73 million people who were lucky enough to see the world change right before my eyes on that magic night 2/9/64, I love seeing young people like you who continue to “get it”. Friday night will be the 60th anniversary of that incredible moment in time when they were on Ed Sullivan and having the DVD collection of the 4 complete, unedited Ed Sullivan appearances, I will at 8 PM start the DVD and remember one of the most amazing things I ever witnessed. It’s not just me either, one of their very successful contemporaries, Donovan, has said: “The Beatles are, I think, the best thing that’s happened to this planet EVER!!! I hope you enjoy your journey learning more about the biggest and best band ever.

Paul was so much more than a pretty face. What a songwriter - and seriously one of the truly GREAT rock-pop-country-ballad voices EVER!!!!! Oh! And cred to George Martin and Alan Parsons for the perfect choice of reverb on Paul's voice here. It adds the perfect drama to the vocal performance.
  • One of my absolute favorite Beatles songs and Paul McCartney just kills it obviously. But yeah I as well like literally every element of it. Those amazing guitar stab/smears like a horn section in the versus, and then the super sharp accented staccato arpeggios in the choruses, and Ringo is fantastic and I believe Paul McCartney's bass line there just makes it. It's got that slow heavy moving underneath. It's just perfect
  • @graemejones6530
Greta reaction ! Paul McCartney in his prime had one of the greatest voices in rock. So many incredible songs from the best band of all time, cheers for posting ❤
  • @falcon215
Arguably one of the greatest vocal performances in rock and roll period. I saw Paul McCartney in concert several times back in the early 90s and really hoped that he would sing this one but I'm pretty sure if he had included it in his setlists he would have completely lost his voice years ago.
  • I watched this video wondering what someone who is so 'young' would think of the Beatles and their song. You killed it. You made some comments I remember making when I first bought the record when it first came out like I loved the drum part on that song and forgot how I loved that their vocals sounded different on each song. Thanks
  • @ricknbacker5626
The Beatles like you've never heard before Blessing. Wonderful reaction. Paul showed up early at EMI Studios for the better part of a week trying to get the raspy vocal he desired. This is a very stripped-down recording with John expertly handling. the guitar work. Ringo's drums are impeccable. George turns in an outstanding bass track while Paul plays the piano. Had the Beatles ever toured again, my hunch is Oh! Darling would have fit nicely in their set list. Take care MrsPP, RNB
