Suge wasn't lying on stage. Puff always wanted to be the star of his artists videos

I always imagined if Eazy was alive to be there and 2pac if he wasn’t in prison it would’ve been helllllll 💯
  • This award show was probably the first and last time we ever got to see legitimately every Rapper from the 90’s that were in their prime there in attendance. Like from Mobb Deep, to Nas, Biggie, Dr Dre, DJ Quik, Snoop, MC Eiht, Bone Thugs N Harmony, OutKast, Da Brat, etc.
  • I remember this Source awards like it was yesterday. What a time to be alive to witness things that are still being talked about almost 30 years later!
  • Suge was actually inviting Biggie to Death Row… you look at it from that perspective. Suge recognized Biggie talent… “ any ARTIST that want to be an artist without the Producer… allll in the videooooz… dancin… “ That was an invite to Biggie to join Death Row. Imagine Notorious Big on Death Row…. That was more than a Puffy diss
  • Who knew one person could shift the entire hip hop world like Suge did that night but he had an army behind him and was ready for war

The EAST COAST vs WEST COAST thing was just a personal thing that cost US to of greatest MC’s to ever do it‼️
  • @niagentle
Suge had a point tho… that man in every artist he signs videos 😅
  • That source awards show was so gangsta. I miss them days. No more awards for the true Hip-Hop genere.

And We Still Didn't Learn Sh!t. Rappers Still Dying on These Streets for Dumb Sh!t. We Have Got To Stop This BS

    Everything went south literally 😂

This night sealed Tupac and Biggie’s fate…I seen it for myself that evening. It takes ninjas to destroy a beautiful, creative movement…

“The South got sumn to say.” And years later the South came to completely rule the game. The boy was a prophet.

A lot of good information here that wasn't covered in all the big name documentary series. I always wondered what more went on during that source awards night aside from Suge's comments. Thanks of the information my man!

Usually these topics are ruined by the narrator. This was EXTREMELY well put together. I didn’t have to hear the narrator the whole time and his/her/their bias opinion. Well done to the channel and narrator here ✌🏾

Crazy how time flies I was in high school I watched this live
  • Looking back at this...these are some of the greatest hip hop artists of all time in one place at one time. wow i didn't recognize the gravity of it at the time

Bad Boy definitely didn’t SURPASS Death Row during their prime. Worthy opponents I’ll give you that for sure. But Death Row STILL had better music(subjective) and more record sales(factual)
