i’m excited for this. for like 5-10 years it’s gonna be like when smartphones were new and the competition was super intense and nearly every year there were new huge and exciting upgrades

Love these videos. Great voice, great knowledge, great span of offerings. They’re laid back with a good eye on style as well as performance.

The Genesis headlights reminds me of the 720S front end and the taillights reminds me of the GLC coupe back end. Interesting combination

My wife and I have a 2016 Chevy Volt now with over 110,000 miles. It seems that once you drive on electric power you are hooked for life. We just ordered a Toyota 2022 RAV 4 Prime (plug in) which will have nearly the identical electric range of our Volt and nearly the same MPG when operating just on gas with the benefit of a more room SUV, and all wheel drive.

Weird to leave out the rivian truck considering that has become one of the most popular etrucks

0:17 and think about that context. 2021 gave us the Mach-e, Rivian R1T, Lucid Air, and Ionic5. Those are some pretty impressive name plates.

Im note hopeful, but would like if the Solterra has a paint option where those big black fender flares are body color painted. Think it would improve the looks a lot.

That's very nice, but I didn't see any analysis on resistances and weaknesses. How are we supposed to choose the best 6 without this? And we need a good guide about IVs too!

Love the look of the Audi🤔 Friend of mine sent me a picture last year of the Fisker prototype being wheeled into their building. He owns the building across from them in Cali.

Really well done review or all these. Very Honest and straight up. I like how this was written.

Brian is the best. If he had a video describing his lunch, I'd still listen to it.

Let me preface this by saying I'm excited about a future full of clean EVs. What disappoints me the most is that the lack of truly affordable EVs. Almost all of these are super expensive for the average Joe who's financially responsible. I'm not talking about folks who live in trailer parks but drive a lifted $60K truck or a Mercedes. I cannot wait for Honda and Toyota to get into the EV game and deliver some affordable units. I would take an affordabe PHEV too!
  • @KiamatDusk
Ok, so I guess we're just gonna pretend that Rivian isn't already delivering the R1T.
  • @anonymous2.128
Can't believe I'm saying this, but Hyundai's nailing it really.

Such a pleasure to hear Brian Cooley’s voice. I truly miss his automotive reviews and commentary.

excited to see an Ioniq5 in the parking lot for the first time. Its spec impressed me but not its appearance. A black one reminded me of a black box lol it will take few more years for them to come down to the $20k price range with long mileage
  • @quackcement
the lack of ev coupes or sedans is just making me appreciate them even more in this sea of crossovers
  • @metamorphic75
Wasn't the electric truck market started by Rivian R1T, not the Ford lightning!? Odd that he made that mistake.
  • @danhassler6585
Missing VinFast, FF91, Imperium, Canoo, and probably a couple others. Although of course they might not all make it to production this year.
