I really find it sad that at some point, Gorrilaz will have to stop making music, but hopefully somehow they never stop making music.

Became a big big fan of you guys some weeks ago and I have heard all song from ecery single album. I have always known gorillaz, but never put my attention on you til now and this album really means something important to me, not only because it guided me to all your work, but also to get through things Ive had in life latelly.

Gorillaz, this has been my life for a long time now, im 32 now and ever since every manga artist and music artist stopped or got canceled after 2010, ever since nujabes died, it just isnt a place owned completely by artists anymore, the musics good again, but i miss storys that where creative, and i miss when artists saw themselves as heros and no matter what, lived by that, they lived by where there hearts where known by themselves and there contemporarys and only appreciated the most loved thoughtful advice and truly knew who they where, they loved, thought well and created philosophically, even when there ideas where thoughtful yet weird, even when there where few who believed in these weird projects, PS2 RPGS and fighting games etc, they where happy, i miss times where we felt well and treated well but created with passion towards art and music, i miss personal and intricate and fun storys, and i wish i felt like i was still a video game creator even though ive been working on music and manga for a long time, i miss saying it every day you know, i wish that was still ok to me and i wish it was still easy or easier to do, the brown eyes part and all that i heard all that tunely and that makes sense, thanks for this song, i havnt been acknowleged for awhile i feel, and yeah that art pic on the left thats mine since 2017, i also wish we still drew whatever it is that matters and still drew women like love looks all the time.

To me this song is about someone who just wanted to share their ideas or passions to the world, but are now idolized and held to such high regard by everyone. The person doesn’t want this life but is held back by the ones idolizing like the people need them to be there and to keep being the figure they love and respect

Been a huge fan for about 3 years now, really sad I found you guys so late(although there were slight mentions of Gorillaz during my childhood) but I'm still so glad I got into this music anyway! Helped me through some dark times 💗
