I swear to fuck. If the lava rock is a piece of a rock human that is using their stand to attract objects to rebuild their body, im giga brained or lost my damned mind consuming too much jojo. Edit: I decided to make a Stand bio for my idea. Stand Name: I Wanna Rock! User:???/The lava rock Ability: Value pulling The stand attracts any object of value towards the lava rock that is inanimate. The stand can also let the user create a temporary body by grafting the valuables to the lava rock.

The potential JoDio is radiating is otherworldly. I also love just how simplistic an ability November Rain is compared to Tusk and especially Soft & Wet who seemed to gain new abilities every fight. It's giving me Stone Free vibes where the ability seems a bit lacking, but the character uses their big brain to show how strong and versatile it can be.

Can’t believe it’s already been a year that flew by. I still remember the day it came out I was on a trip and read the first chapter in the car it was a great day. So far it’s been pretty cool but I can’t wait to see where it goes once it really starts picking up. We aren’t even far enough into the story for people to be saying it’s “the worst part” yet… most likely because people aren’t used to waiting for new jojo chapters every month and have been able to binge read the previous ones.

I think it's really funny that the chapter just after this video tackles in a lot of the worries you ahve in the video like showing dragonas past and deepening the relation with Jodio

Charming man is probably a reference to the song by The Smiths
  • @asap3720
i love that Araki always names someone or something after music he fucks with like (smooth operator - Sade) ( Charming man - the smiths ) i love it

First of all, psychopathy is a personality disorder, not a mental disorder. Its not something that can be cured or treated. With that out of the way, here's my theory on how I think things will go on. So, the lava rock. It attracts objects with sentimental value, not necessarily ones that have monetary value. The protag is a self-centered asshole who just wants wealth and doesn't exactly cares for his partners. Now think back to gangster movies like Scarface, where the asshole protag fights to get to the top of the world, but to get there loses everything he ever cared about in the process to the point that his victory is ultimately shallow and phyrric. Now back to the lava rock, and what I believe is the central theme of this part's plot and what's coming Jodio's way, learning and choosing what really matters in his life, what it is that is really valuable. He will have to make those choices, whether to stand up for his partners/friends/family or sacrifice them.

I didn't think I'd love Paco so much but he's quickly becoming my favorite from the group so far. At first I thought his stand was kinda silly but seeing what it can do in the Charming man fight I was really impressed. JoJo weirdness but badass at its best. this is your reminder: CATCH UP AND READ PART 9!

It's doing well so far for something that has to live up to Steel Ball Run and JoJolion

I love how Metas says “supposably” instead of “supposedly”.

A whole year man damn, Paco and The Hustle are my favorite part, really hasn’t been stands, and when there is they’re used in very unique waves

Maybe it's me who's not used to this type of Manga, but having a chapter per month in a story like Jojo that likes to take things slow with the narrative makes it very difficult to stay engaged.

Quick theory idea: "Blessings from the earth, Devil's palms, The Holy Corpse, etc." are all reoccurring things in this universe and are directly related/causality based to each other, all with the Corpse being the catalyst. We learned in part 8 that the corpse was taken by the Speedwagon Foundation, and they are based in America. Hawaii is a part of America. What if someone, either a part of the organisation or a completely different descendant of a Steel Ball Run character or something like that, just straight up stole the corpse like Johnny did after part 7, and did so because they could see how dangerous it is. And the only way they thought to permanently and completely get rid of it was to drop it into an active/lava-filled volcano, thus transferring it's power to the land/island/only the volcano or whatever. Hell, it could've even been this world's Joseph who did it, mirroring how the original Joseph tried to kill off Cars in a volcano as well. Just an idea. Could be possible, could be completely off track. I dunno

The „Mechanisms“ seems like it’ll be a pretty important idea in this part, like fate in part 5 and spin in part 7 (and some of part 8)

0:29 Im sorry but can we just take a moment to appreciate how nice this intro is? Literally my favorite on yt right now it's so good.
  • @darylspeaks6431
I'm enjoying the story so far. All I'm really hoping for (in terms of what ifs and fanservice): humanoid november rain or a suprise evolution. Something decent for Jodio's stand
  • @Nikogus
im loving it so far, reading jojos monthly and thinking about how it might go for like 10 years of my life is so much fun. I only first watched jojo and became a jojo fan right near the end of part 8 coming out, and then I fell out of it and in 2022 I read part 7 and in 2023 read part 8, now im reading it weekly and will be for like a decade 💀 thats so cool

Jodio character seems interesting, darker direction of the gangster Anti-hero. Giorno who was ruthless but had moral boundaries he wouldn't cross, such as selling drugs to minors. Ultimately had morally good intentions, that involved taking control of mafia in order to make the streets safer. Constrant to Jodio who is not only self-serving. His a violent, impulsive and arrogant street thug who wiling to use any means necessary to acquire wealth. Well as being a psychopath. Essentially Jodio and his crew are Villian protagonists. Fascinating too see where the Big Bad stand is he/she gonna as be evil as Jodio, we get an Evil vs Evil conflict. Or is the Big Bad is gonna more evil making him/her just a complete monster, in comparison to Jodio and his crew making them anti-heroes as they have the higher moral ground in regard to the conflict. Araki pull twist Jodio becomes the Big Bad antagonist if continues on the trajectory his on. This definitely has potential.
