Why hustle and discipline aren't the answer. The missing piece in personal development

I've found answers in 2 things: psychotherapy and spirituality.
Therapy helped me understand that I'm an emotional analphabet. I label fear, sadness and anger as negative emotions and push them down or run away. Instead I should try to understand, accept them and reflect why do I feel like that.
Spirituality taught me that resistance to emotions or running away creates suffering. Instead I should give up fully and observe myself as a character from 3rd person view.
These things allowed me to gradually change my behaviour and switch my state to more positive and productive one. And now I'm able to do things that I want to do without getting stuck or getting depressed or anxious.

Staying in touch with your emotions is really key in self development, without sorting out your mind it's difficult to make any progress. It's like trying to run with a broken leg.

I can relate to being stuck with my goals and feeling like I'm the only one that doesn't get results and doesn't get why đ

Can you talk about the exercises your therapist gave you that helped you the most?
I'm kind of struggling with the same feelings as you did.
Maybe this can be a topic for your next video?
Great work and good luck! -
