"He puts down Panda Express but he eats McDonald's all the time." Thank you girl on the right.

I love how the older people are like "yeah this is acceptable" but the younger ones are like "this is a mockery to all Chinese food". I don't know if the old people are just being nice or if the younger ones are being too pretentious. I've never really considered panda express to be authentic Chinese food. I don't think anyone does.

That guy in the middle wants us to know so bad he’s authentically Chinese when he’s from California 😂
  • “Just American style Chinese food, you can’t expect it to be the same as our traditional Chinese food” I like her outlook on it, the older folks seems to be pretty accepting of the food regardless of if it’s authentic
  • @Pikajohn8
Didn't like the smug, know-it-all young kids dissing on the food like they are some sort of Chinese Cuisine experts, when the elders who are clearly more experienced enjoyed it and complimented it.

Annoying dude: This is American chow mein Old Chinese woman: this is Chinese chow mein
  • @dmoneyy34
I love the elderly man in the video. Speaks for most of us. He’s focused on how the food actually tastes rather than just saying that it’s not real Chinese food two hundred times

As a 100% Chinese person, born & raised, I love Panda Express. I go there all the time. I also have many Chinese friends like it as well. Their KungPao chicken is my all time fav. I make it the same way at home as well. Orange chicken though, it's basically a crispier, juicier version of chicken nuggets. LOL. But it tastes great. I like it too.

The younger teens are embarrassing themselves and the elders are being more honest
  • @justinv8668
I swear the younger ones are just extremely picky and calling it off just because it's not from China or Authentic. Food that's not authentic does not equate to it tasting bad. The older people seemed to like it and they've probably had much more experience with Chinese cuisine, therefore, I believe their opinions hold much more credibility than these brats.
  • it’s almost sad bc u can tell the chinese-americans are trying too hard while the native chinese actually enjoyed some & even said they’d have it again.. which was so effing cute & respectable 👏🏽👏🏽
  • @Whocareslol
I realize he has (hopefully) matured more by now but i swear to god you could have given that middle dude chinese food cooked by his great grandfather put in a panda express box and he would have been saying how bad it was
  • @yueli2146
Born in America and judging American Chinese good thinking he's so "authentic" while elders actually try and taste the food. That guy is so unlikable
  • @twickzys4522
Why the boy in the middle of the two girls act like he’s lived in Shang hai China for 282 years
  • @2KGrind09
I'm so glad she humbled mr McDonalds. Nothing he said after that was taking serious
  • I appreciate how quiet and polite the elders are, honest and respectful towards the foods they are given
  • don't trust those teenagers ABC Chinese, I would go with the elders because they have been eating Chinese food their whole life.
  • @spiderlover678
Younger Chinese generation: "If you actually know Chinese chow mein you would be like 'this is American-Chinese chow mein'." Older Chinese generation: "Chinese chow mein looks like this." Gee, I wonder who's probably right about what authentic Chinese food looks like?
  • @MrAngryJarvey
Funny. I am from a traditional Native American house. My grandparents loved “Chinese food”.. they wanted all us children to cook like that. It was sweet spicy and savory. Panda Express was basically gold to them. So when I see Asian Grandparents liking that - it warms my heart. Good food equals a good heart.
  • @latinolawdog5067
The actual Chinese people didn’t feel the need to show how “Chinese” they were, while the American of Chinese descent tried WAY too hard to show how “Chinese” he was.
