Who is Dr. Ergin? Dr. Ahmet Ergin is an endocrinologist with a particular interest and passion for diabetes care. Dr. Ergin earned his medical degree with honors at Marmara University School of Medicine in Istanbul, Turkey. Then, he completed his internal medicine residency and endocrinology fellowship at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. He is a board-certified physician in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism. He is also a certified diabetes education specialist.

    I am pretty well versed in magnesium metabolism - mag citrate was the only form that controlled the blood sugar. You have to try different forms to find the right one.

  • I am surprised and disappointed that there is hardly any mention of Magnesium Threonate, which would have been very useful.
  • A high 95% caocoa bar with little to none sugar is my fav form of magnesium. I remember mom making things with unsweeten german chocolate as a kid and I would beg for a tiny piece. My mother would shake her head. Finally she would give me a tiny piece. I never liked sweet things but unsweeten chocolate was amazing to me. I would savor it and feel so good after. Now I know why.😂

    I am a type 2 diabetic and with that I have developed restless leg syndrome. Magnesium is the only thing that has helped. If I miss a couple days I can really feel it.
  • Most people are magnesium deficient . Taking magnesium without vitamin d can actually make you more deficient in vtamin d. Magnesium should never be taken without vitamin d . This could be the biggest mistake in taking magnesium supplements since they need vitamin d to be able to assimulate in your body.

    Excellent information, thank you. As well, if your exercising and getting cramping, you may be low in potassium. If your in a relaxing state and getting cramping, your low in magnesium.

    sorry, Doc. you failed to give a compelling enough reason why diabetics should not use other types of magnesium. just because such a form of magnesium is in your product is not a sufficient reason. besides, at the beginning of the video, you promised that you would reveal to us the #1 vitamin, not the #1 mineral.
