Are they punk, are they rap, are they rock, are they funk......their EVERYTHING !!!
-
Adrock is such a divine creature.
-
The Beasties were one of the most important bands of the late 20th Century.
-
What a random song to play on TV, love it!
-
That bass tone is SICK!
-
I liked the Beastie Boys until I saw them live in 92 at Lollapalooza. After that, I loved, admired and revered them.
-
definitely respecting these three crazy kids more today than I did back in the day, they did their own thing and stand the test of time. Legends.
-
Those boys are artist -- plain and simple. What they did was real and genuine.
-
Ad Rock's face in this is the greatest thing in the history of the Universe ever.
-
So much damn talent. Playing instruments and nailing it live. The vocals are spot on.
-
RIP the king... MCA. Bruh was killing that bassline
-
Man, letterman was ALWAYS on point with the musical acts. I used to stay up late just to see the musical guest. We didn’t have YouTube back then, so you had to actually search out new bands/live performances. Go back and look at all the amazing acts he had on. Thank you Dave!
-
Let's be honest: ain't no band today that beats or even matches the Beastie Boys' skill set, showmanship, and presence. Ad-Rock can kick my balls anytime.
-
I don’t play my bass often these days, but every time I see MCA on the bass it makes me want to play again.
-
They kick asses . Beastie boys are a genre of their own. No little box to put them in
-
The energy they bring is ridiculous! haha, even for a late night television slot. Love It!
-
So many acts in so many genres are directly descended from these dudes.
-
Looking back, it’s so funny to think my parents actually let me buy “Licensed to ill” with my first communion money in 1986. First tape I ever bought and it never left deck A in the box and it’s never left my regular rotation of “must listen to’s” at least a couple times a year. Just turned 40, so I’m gonna go ahead and say yeah! that album is timeless and so are the Beastie Boys.
-
dig MCA ruthlessly mongering that bass fuzz
-
What legends! They get a show on David Letterman and instead of dropping one of their singles, they play a medley with a little bit of pretty much every song on the album! Legend dairy!
