The EV sales have grown and will continue to do so because of government launched trade in offers, and first tier cities like Shanghai don’t charge you plate number taxes for EV, and China having now 8 million charging stations not including private ones. The EV sales are just going to accelerate. There will be intense competition on pricing as there are too many players but won’t be over capacity because most of the EV players including Nio works on OEM model. So capacity remains the same it is just some smaller EV brands companies will vanish and their capacities allocated to stronger ones. CNBC should get better analyst for interviews.
