In Flames hurts the most for me, Jotun was the song that got me into metal. I hung in until 'Soundtrack to Your Escape' (barely), but from then on it was a completely different band. Every release after that I prayed and hoped they would come back to some of their original sound, but it's just disappointment after disappointment.

Pretty much anything from 5fdp. I can’t really say that they aren’t talented because they can play, it’s just that they don’t really do anything interesting or exciting with their songwriting or musical ideas (to me). One of the reasons I love Slipknot is because I can see them branch out into other styles and keep it relatively interesting. I am a big fan of vol. 3 and their last album WANYK because they had the confidence to write different sounding songs like “spiders” or “my pain” and still have heavier sounding material like “orphan” and “solway firth” and “not long for this world”. Even though they might not always hit the nail on the head or execute it perfectly, they still have an interest in not trying to remain stagnant and repetitive. And for that I can at least respect their efforts But bands like 5fdp and disturbed and six feet under just stay in their lane and all of their stuff is really interchangeable and not very distinct. I just don’t really get anything out of it personally. No hate to anyone who does. (Also thank you guys for introducing me to Temple of Void, been jamming that recently)

Morbid Angel needs to release a really strong comeback album. In the vein of the F and G albums.
  • @79Phobia
You could fill the list with Six feet under albums alone.

Diablous in Musica is pretty good 🤷‍♂️. Paul Bostaph kills it on that album, too. Got it the day it came out and listened to it as recently as a month ago. I’ll take “bad” Slayer over bad Megadeth, bad Metallica, bad Anthrax or just about anything any day.

Illud Divinum Insanus is just Too Extreme for you. You're not bangin' hardcore Radikult enough for Wavey Davey. 😁
  • @tilman9506
Nightmares of the decomposed is worse than st anger. I would argue that Chris Barnes vocals were essentially Lars’s snare. I do enjoy the melody on invisible kid for the first couple times, I can’t anything positive about that 6 feet under album
  • @LordKoehler
The Cryptopsy EP:s were a pretty good comeback for that band. I hope they release a really good full-length album soon.
  • @blucu001
Best way to describe Illud Divinum Insanus in short is this: It's what Formulas Fatal To The Flesh would've sounded with David Vincent in the band, only over a decade late.
  • Great shirt! Love Broken Hope!!! I am kind of surprised there was no 6 ft Under mentioned, your review of Nightmares of the Decomposed is epic lol
  • @pedrogordo5122
Thread started by 'MetalMickey' and 'Jurgen Aumann', two excellent metalheads that I'm sure would appreciate it if all of you guys looked them up and subscribed to their channels!
  • @rodneybarr5735
There is one great thing you showed in this video. That being your Broken Hope Swamped in Gore shirt. That's badass. I have that album, the bowels of repugnance, repulsive conception, loathing and omen of disease. I still need their most recent album
  • @Haxprocess
not in any order: 1. Illusionary Anus - Morbid Angel 2. Lulu - Metallica 3. Ummagumma - Pink Floyd (wtf is this album???) 4. The Astonishingly Awful - Dream Theater 5. Nostradamus - Judas Priest 6. Virtual XI - Iron Maiden 7. Forbidden - Black Sabbath 8. Cold Lake - Celtic Frost 9. Chinese Democracy - Guns N Roses 10. Anything from Six Feet Under lol
  • Does anyone know how to find Slayer - Ghua??? I can't even find a listing for it
  • @KarateDungeon
When did Julian from Trailer Park Boys become a metalhead?!
  • @METALALEX211
Sorry Diabolus in Música is a heavy as fuck album why the hate
  • @adrianmisak07
I think that Nostradamus by Judas Priest was only for fans… not even close to their best, but I loved the album because I love Judas Priest, and it was nice to hear them again… Alone and Visions are good songs, even though they are a bit slower compared to earlier era JP
  • @diabeticmonkey
Unseen is so odd, especially after The Dead Eye. How do you follow that up with hot garbage?
  • @David-io4nt
Wanna know what people find savagble on morbid angel industrial album nothing on that album was salvageable
  • You had me at your first pick. Words can’t describe how much that album sucks. Hard to believe it’s the same band that put out Blessed Are The Sick. Arguably one of the Best early Death Metal albums. Just subscribed.
