Point Dume, Malibu is one of Southern California's unique beachs / spots and one of my personal favorites as well, with its spectacular views and mega luxury beach homes.

it took me 5 different visits to be able to reach some of these spots without having to disturb the local residents and their privacy, not to mention the edit time which takes hours! but i truly enjoyed making this short video and i hope you do as well.

Our family lived in Pt Dume for a year in 1956, house sitting for friends of my dad, when we had just moved from Texas for my dad's work. I was in 5th grade, 9 yrs old, went to Juan Cabrillo school. Almost no houses up there then, it was pretty much open country, I used to run around ip there with our dog, a black lab. I used to hit a baseball, and my dog would run and get it and bring it back. Weeds were about 18 inches tall. Then one day my dog decided not to go get the ball and I never saw it again.

Freddy G. Beautiful. Fantastic job! Especially like the rooftop view over Johnny Carson's previous home and tennis court nearby. Have watched many times. Keep it up! Look forward to more Malibu drone flights!

Dear Freddy, Thank you for posting such a nice high-quality video. Thanks for taking the time to create it. Did you know that from the end of Point Dune on a clear day, one can see all the way to the downtown skyscrapers of Los Angeles business district? ... And in the near-ground the skyscrapers of Santa Monica. ... Would you kindly go and take a photo / video of that zoom view, please. I would be delighted to see such a video / photo. Some of those houses are a little too close to the edge especially their swimming pools... that's crazy. There's one or two videos here showing pieces of the cliff on someone's property falling down and people below are watching it and freaking out ... and I'm pretty sure it was Point Dume. .
