Dungeon Clawler is fun. You might also like some other games by Stray Fawn Studios. Niche allows you to breed cute animals. Nimbatus allows you to build spaceships. And the wandering city allows you to collect dung and torn it into gas so you can burn fungi... XD

Basically with the mirror grab shields first and hit him with the fluff since it does the least amount of damage to you. But yeah, you had an incredibly bad build to fight him.
