the Brazil show is one of my favorites. I think Kurt sounds unique here. he's clearly on something, but he still pulls off an interesting performance. He seemed depressed, and tired of being in Nirvana, by this point. a lot of people dislike the Brazil show, but if you watch the entire show, it's actually interesting and Kurt's voice sounds good, even though he obviously struggling in some parts of the show

For the record he originally wanted to call the song Heart Shaped Coffin which is why he changed the lyrics here. Courtney thought it was too dark so he changed it.

It's frickin awesome how he keeps coming back to life, and still confusing anyone who tries to decipher the meaning of his music.. he just broke out of a rehab center and made the show just in time he had a serious heroin addiction that was the product of a broken home. The song is about a fetus making the decision to be aborted instead of being forced into the world a love hate relationship with a mother that will poison it against it's father without reason. oh and she shaves a heart in her bush...
