Big bucks for a pickup that has to be recharged for 4 hours after towing 90 miles.
-
I wouldn't even buy one of these things, let alone pay for a chance to, and then pay full price later. 🤔
-
Lol, they can keep that R/C pickup...

Ford and all there dealers can shove their Lightnings and all their other vehicles where the sun don't shine. What we need is more competition. Not raffles.
-
Even if Ford offered me one for free, id chuck them there keys back NO THX I'll stick with American muscle any day!!

Big bucks for a useless vehicle.. i wish i had money to throw away

The fact that this truck is a useless hunk of plastic and rare earth metals has completely went unnoticed by these lemmings. Line right up kids, and pay (prolly 1 to 10 thousand dollars per entry) to win the ability to pay sticker, for a truck that can't tow or haul anything with out crippling itself? Am I missing anything here?

I have talked with every dealership in my area (and some that are even in the next state over) and one dealership is doing the same thing with their demo unit once it comes time to sell it. They are going to put everyone's name into a raffle and then draw a name to see who gets to purchase the vehicle. I was told that is cost nothing to enter the raffle, but there will be a "market" price on the vehicle after that drawing. I don't believe it will be sold at MSRP.

HP and Torque.....electric has none of it. City beta boys will drive em though.

Order you vehicle through a dealer that sells at MSRP.

Whats the big deal about these new ford lightnings?? Im a used car dealer and seens these in person, its CRAP!! Its giving the old and BETTER Ford lightnings a bad name!! They destroyed the name Ford Lightning with these new battery crap truck, towing range sucks!!! Its quiet and boring, no excitement when you driving, you will get bored of it in 3 months and return it. I already saw some run at the auction which means people returned them lol dont over pay for this truck people, its not worth it!

FYI - Tindol already took it off their website. Also, don't bother calling Capital Ford in Charlotte - they don't have one to sell.

People are gullible. With these prices along with gas it’s like using your Lamborghini to go 4x4 because you have the money.

Friendship Ford of Lenoir would be my local dealer, but they're not EV certified (if that's the term) so I'm trying to order with Yadkin Valley Motor Company (North Wilkesboro, NC's oldest Ford dealer). I drove the Pro @ Friendship Ford Bristol, TN

A few months ago, my buddy tried to by a hybrid Maverick a local dealer had sitting on the lot. It was the exact one he wanted and he had no problem with the price tag. The dealer said they weren't going to sell it. Instead, they were going to keep it as a dealer demo so people would be able to experience a new Ford product they can't really buy yet. 🤣🤣

Ill give EV tech another 10-15 years before I think about buying one. Battery Tech isn't there yet.

I'm not sure I would want my dealers mannequin. I test drove it and it was fine. I see they entered it in the tractor/truck pulls at the local fair though. Hard to say what else its been thru.
-
Did you not hear him say the raffle is not for a mannequin???!!!! Where is your head! Pay attention!

This is my Dealership I reserved at....

This electric truck from Ford will be a complete boat anchor in 3 years or less.. They never had the engineering for reliable and efficient turbocharging in vehicles, and certainly don't for EV's....
