Dejounte Murray got a technical for ignoring the ref's input 😂 get a tech for talking too much and tech for not talking back 🤦🏾‍♂️

The refs ejecting playing over getting insulted is so dumb
  • A normal foul in the 80s would land a player in jail for attempted murder today.

ejections are the least of the NBA problems. you mentioned the scoring averages of the 2005 finals like it was a bad thing. 2005 Final was the best 2 defenses in League. that series was far superior to the BS played today.

80s/90s nba fans have been saying this for 20 years.

I'll always bring up the HUGE changes that have happened to dribbling and what is considered traveling or holding the ball, every single play in todays game would be a foul just 10-15 years ago, not to mention 20+. This video doesn't even come close to showcasing how crazy it is. People act like players are just better at ball handling but in reality the vast majority of it is just that the player in possession of the ball can basically do whatever they want with the ball now giving them much more ability to make crazy plays. Its super interesting looking at all the rules changes for dribbling over the years and seeing breakdowns of what used to be called as travel, highly recommend anybody to look into it.

Zone was played all the way back in the 80s. There is very clear cut footage of zone being used to defend Dr J. The Pistons openly talked about using zone on MJ. It was used consistently throughout the 90s.

my biggest problem with officiating is that often times both teams arent given the same treatment, if you're gonna call something a foul on one end, do it on the other one, too...
  • @Villey
Watching CP3 get tossed with 6 seconds left is the wildest shit I've ever seen from a ref lmao
  • @gouldingsteve
In this title, the word 'getting' is completely unnecessary. 'The NBA is way too soft' can stand on its own.
  • @StonexRanger
surprised he didn’t bring up how Max Struss got a technical for handing the ball to a ref
  • Honestly tho the nba NEEDS to add more physical defense because just waving your hands around and having to be 5 inches away from the opponent just makes defending more boring and adding more physical play would help defenders and make the game wayyy more interesting
  • @eradicator1830
The LeBron effect! lasting legacy of being SOFT, TRAVELLING AND FLOPPING! it even influence the Refs! 🤣🤣🤣
  • The fact that you can get a foul for just the smallest thing is crazy
  • @AlBaraaHadi
    I AIN'T DONE WITH THE 90s!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You missed out on one important factor - the fact that this generation of players grew up entitled, and without a sense of professionalism.
